Teradata has a good connectivity which can connect to Channel-attached systems such as Mainframe or Network-attached systems.
Teradata optimizer is the matured optimizer in the market, which has been designed to be parallel since its beginning and has been refined for each release.
Teradata supports the industry standard SQL to interact with the data stored in tables and provides its own extension.
Teradata provides the robust utilities to import or export data from or to Teradata system such as FastLoad, MultiLoad, FastExport and TPT.
Automatic Distribution feature of Teradata automatically distributes the data evenly to the disks without any manual intervention.
